The semi-automatic version of the Powerheart G5 guides users step by step with both voice and text prompts. A clear LCD screen visually displays the resuscitation instructions. After the electrodes are applied, the AED automatically analyses the heart rhythm; if a shockable rhythm is detected, the user must manually deliver a shock via the shock button.

There is also a fully automatic version available

  Two Languages Available During Use

  The G5 is pre-configured with English and French and allows users to switch languages instantly during resuscitation. This is particularly useful in international or tourist environments.

  Immediate CPR Quality Feedback

  The included electrodes feature a CPR sensor that provides feedback on chest compression performance. The sensor measures compression rate and depth and provides instructions to ensure optimal resuscitation. This support is especially valuable for users with limited experience.

  Variable Shock Delivery

  Thanks to the STAR biphasic™ protocol, the AED automatically adjusts the shock energy. The G5 uses variable energy, adapting the amount of energy delivered based on the patient's impedance, up to a maximum of 360 joules. This increases the likelihood of successful defibrillation.

  Rescue Ready Status Indicator

  The Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 AED Semi-Automatic is equipped with a smart status indicator that instantly shows whether the device is ready to use. The AED performs self-tests daily, weekly, and monthly, automatically checking key components such as the battery, electrodes, and internal systems.

  The status indicator displays the results of these self-tests. A green light means the AED is fully operational. If something is wrong (such as a depleted battery or expired electrodes) the Rescue Ready indicator turns red. This way, you always know when maintenance is needed.
