Ready for Immediate Use for Adults and Children
The CU Medical i-PAD SP1 AED Semi-Automatic is designed for fast and safe use in cases of sudden cardiac arrest. This AED is easy to operate, even without a medical background. The device is compact, lightweight and supplied with a protective hard case, making it easy to transport during an emergency.
Thanks to the pre-connected electrode pads and clear voice instructions with metronome, this defibrillator provides optimal support during CPR. The included carrying case offers space to safely and cleanly store spare electrode pads. With an IP rating of 55, the device is highly resistant to water and dust. The paediatric mode switch allows you to treat children without the need for separate paediatric pads.
This AED is suitable for, among others:
- Schools
- Businesses
- Sports clubs
- Public areas with children
- Swimming pools and recreational parks
Noise and CPR Detection
The i-PAD SP1 automatically adjusts the volume of its voice prompts to the surrounding noise level. This unique noise detection feature ensures that instructions remain clearly audible, even in busy or loud environments. The AED also features CPR detection. The device automatically recognizes when CPR is not being performed and immediately instructs the rescuer to start chest compressions.
Pediatric Resuscitation with the i-PAD SP1
This AED is equipped with a paediatric mode, activated via a slide switch. When activated, the shock energy is automatically reduced. Separate paediatric pads are therefore not required, although they are optionally available. This saves valuable time in critical situations.
The paediatric mode switch is protected by a cover to prevent accidental activation during adult resuscitation.
Always Clear Insight into AED Status
The LCD screen provides immediate information about the status of the electrode pads and battery. The AED performs automatic self-tests daily, weekly and monthly, ensuring that it is always ready for use. The status indicator remains visible even when the device is stored in the supplied carrying case.
Easy Data Retrieval and Updates
The i-PAD SP1 automatically stores data from each use, up to approximately 3 hours of data or the last 5 events. This includes ECG data and usage information. Treatment data can be easily retrieved via an SD card or through an IrDA connection.
